I wake up early and see the rays of sun squeaking through my blinds. early sun rise and sunshine? It must be summer. I roll out of bed and put on my shorts and t-shirt. I dont bother looking out the window. After taking in a quick meal, I put on my runners and jog outside. Right away i burst back into the house, freezing. Theirs snow on the ground, and its COLD! its June 6th but not summer yet!

It have been a strange summer here in Canmore with warm sunny days followed by snow, and vice versa. I however wont complain as its been a great spring. After my break from training on May 1st I got right back into full training gear. With recharged batteries and mind I quickly remembered why I love skiing and training.

I would like to give huge props the my friend and teammate Graeme Killick who qualified for the senior National team as a first year senior. While I will definitely miss having him as a training partner I am super stoked for him. Also to try and make up for this change we have recruited two good friends and athletes, Fraser Mills and Curtis Merry to the team. I think these addition to the team will work out very well for all.

There is not much else to write about as its been farily straight foward few weeks.

Adieu
Gerard
